First thanks to all that responded to my last post! Helpful info...

I am looking into starting to make my own CD's, but I wanted to find out if anyone (I''m sure there's lots) has already done their own and if their are pattern recommendations, or if I should just try to make my own??? I'm not looking at any specific type of dipe, I'm willing to try all! Thanks again!!

Here are some sites to check out. I just winged it with a pattern, making one out of scrap fabric to begin with, and then making adjustments from there until it was perfect!

www.diaperfabric.com

www.diapersewing.com

www.sewbaby.com

www.sewshoppe.com

www.diapershop.com

Good luck and have fun!

Honeyboy pattern is great for beginning sewers. It's a great method of diaper sewing - especially if you have a sewing machine and not a serger. I also like goodness gracious pattern for the shape of the diaper - here's the link: http://goodnessgracious.welcome.to

I really like the cuddlebuns pattern, especially if you have a serger. You can do it if you don't though too.

I looked at teh honey boy but don't like the style particularly and the instructions are massive! Good luck. Just get your feet wet. It's lots of fun

I didn't understand the Cuddlebuns pattern. There's this booklet and i couldn't follow it. I like the directions for the HB pattern. They are easy to follow and have lots of helpful hints. I don't like the fit of the pattern especially, but I adjusted it to fit my babe.

I did find the poopockets to be my fav for just fitted dipes. DH likes the gussets and I found it easier to adjust to fit my dd.
