ISO- Holistic Poetry Anthology?

I am a holistic/Waldorf slant homeschooler and I am looking for a poetyr anthology to read to my 3 yr old and my 7 yr old. I want it to have colour pictures in, and preferably some nonsense rhymes too. I was just looking at one I own, but cannot read it to my dd as there are so many poems referring to the dark, to monsters, witches etc and she doesn't sleep as it is!!

So something that warms her heart and nurtures her soul. Any suggestions??

Talking like the Rain by compiled by XJ Kennedy is lovely for young kids. Lots of old rhymes, some fun ones - beautifully illustrated in watercolours. It's a favourite gift for me to give at first birthdays. My 9 year old still enjoys hearing poems from it.

Lullaby Moons and a Silver Spoon : A Book of Bedtime Songs and Rhymes is a lovely one for night time readings.

The Caroline Kennedy Collection of Family poems is also a nice anthology of classical poetry.
