Sew What! Skirts and Sew What! Fleece books?

Has anyone used/read these books? The Skirts book got excellent reviews and I'm thinking of getting it. The Fleece one doesn't have any reviews on Amazon yet, but it looks interesting. I like the idea of how it is based on making your own patterns and tailoring designs to meet your individual style.

I have the skirt one, I haven't made anything yet, but I really like the looks of it.

I have the skirt one and its pretty cool-I plan on using it as soon as I am done with Christmas sewing.

I used the skirt book after a friend recommended it and I really liked it.

However, I did find that for making the half-circle wrap skirt -- the measurements didn't work out right and it wasn't enough to go all the way around -- luckily it was supposed to be a long skirt and I was able to turn it into a short skirt instead. With that pattern, I'd double check your measurements before cutting, and you'll probably want it to be a 3/4 or full circle wrap skirt to make it work (you can google comments on it too).

But it really is a great book to have on hand -- basically replaces the need to buy skirt patterns.

Thanks everyone! I will have to check it out next time I am at a big bookstore (assuming that they have it). For now, it's tentatively on my Christmas list. I tried the library with no luck (it's too new supposedly?).
