Set up my last day of work

So I had planned on working "up until" I actually went in to labor. However, with my EDD looming in the near future (7 days away) and no signs of labor what so ever, I've made the decision that my EDD will be my last day of work regardless. It may shave a week or two off my maternity leave in the end, but I am okay with that. Part of the stress of going past my due date was the thought of coming in to work daily at 41/42 weeks still. Now that it's all set and taken care of, I am much more comfortable with things

I totally understand your feeling of relief...I decided that today is my last day of work (I am 5 days past my EDD) and I am so happy that I don't have to drag my bloated self in there again until January, even if the baby doesn't come this weekend (PLEASE, baby...)

My last day is tomorrow, a week before my due date. Leaving a week early seemed generous when I planned it out, and now I feel like I cannot get out of here soon enough!

That is awesome! I am working until my EDD, and wish I had followed Curlita and left a week early. The work stress is far worse than the pregnancy stress.

Next Sunday is my last day. That is what the restaurant owner suggested- I feel like he may have gotten a complaint that I pretty much do NOTHING except the bare minimum. Hell, I do alot more at work than some of the other people I work with!!! But I am relieved to be getting finished. I am working 3 days this week and 2 next week, and then ta dahhhh! Finito. Yay us! It will feel good not standing 7 hours a day!
