My ds and I had such a lovely day today. Our church is having a Christmas Craft sale tomorrow and I made a few items. Ds wanted to make something too so we made some of these

we did some of the santas, and the penguin from the animal page which was my favourite.
It was such a relaxing activity (if you don't count the toddler sending beads rolling in all directions
) and we looked at patterns, symmetry, addition, subtraction and groupings as we worked. He is 5 and was able to do most of it on his own once he got used to it.
