I am swelling in my feet and at night in my hands, and I gained a few pounds, but the check today was great. No headaches or spots, no protein in my urine and my BP was really good.
So except for feet that look a bit swollen sometimes and pain in my "Mommy Muscle" from pulling my groin bowling last Sunday, I am still doing really great.
They have no pools for me right now
: because of all the others due, so I am kind of worried I will go into labor and not have the pool here. I am counting on that for relaxation and pain relief. I will be SO ticked off if I listened to them and didn't order my own, only to be left with no pool.
If they get the loaned dopplers back before I give birth, they will loan me one so in case my water breaks and I am nervous until they get here, I can check on the heart beat. I am really just a wee bit nervous about a prolapsed cord, but they also made sense with a story abount someone with cord compression issues recently. If on her left side or on the toilet, the fetal heart tones were in the 80's, but if on the right side, they were great.
They said call AS SOON as I feel I am going into labor because too many people wait and then they can't get comfortably set up with oxygen and meds, etc and have literally seconds to catch the baby. If there are problems, they really need that oxygen set up, etc.
Anywhoo, a good appointment and I am less worried about all this swelling!
