I'm feeling a lot of movement in...

...my cooter.

My baby seems to have dropped some more and I can feel her moving her head way down low. I don't see how she can stay in much longer. I can touch her head from the inside a few inches up and I think my cervix feels about 5cm or so and I can feel the amniotic sac buldging a bit. I'm afraid to go into labor because of how FAST I think it will be.

And it's still too early (36 weeks). I'm so excited to have made it this so far though! I'm so not ready this!:

wow! that is exciting!!! are you planning a hospital birth as it is... (meaning if you go into labor at 36 wx it wouldn't matter but to a midwife or a birth center midwife it would...)?

cooter....!!!!!!! between you calling your vagina a cooter and gina calling it a coochie i can't decide which makes me grin bigger. ha! i call mine and meghs' our 'giney's...

We don't actually call a vagina a cooter here. I just think it's a funny word. One of the funniest words really. I'd die if one of my girls said it!

I am planning on a hospital birth. If I make it to there in time. EEK!

It's great to hear you say cooter...that's what DH & I say!!!

I'm having the same feelings down there when it comes to movement. The dr told me the baby is super low (like -2 or -1 station) in my pelvis. I haven't self-checked and they haven't checked me. It'd be neat to feel dilation and the head! How cool. Your post makes me want to check.

My dr said he wouldn't stop labor at this point...or even the last 2-3 weeks. But now I'm staring down 37 weeks (tuesday) so I feel better about that. I'm having a hospital birth too.

If I am talking about vagina to the boys or a doctor or MW it's just plain vagina.

But it is SO much fun to say coochie, cooter, vajayjay and others. My mom always called it a "Hoo-hoo."

We (my sisters and I) used to call it our "cookie". I just about die thinking about it now.

I haven't heard it called a cooter in, gawd, over 20 years! Not even in the human sexuality class I took in college where we compiled all the slang names for male and female reproductive parts... :
