How Do I Get Ink Off a Wood Table? And a Magna Doodle?

Yes, we had a 2 year old go nuts w/ an ink pen. Obviously not so concerned about the Magna Doodle, but the ink on our nice wooden table is bumming me out. I tried a little dish soap and water and that didn't work.

Rubbing alcohol works to get ink out of clothes. Maybe try that?

I used a bit of baking soda rubbed into the table with a little water to get out an ink stain. It did take out the stain but it left a greasy looking mark behind. Granted, you can only see the difference in the finish if you're looking at it from an angle, but it is still there. It's better than red ink, imho.
