Dd1 will be 4 in January and has recently become enamoured of all things dinosaur. Fortunately we happen to live in a city with a reconstructed T-Rex at the museum, hopefully we'll be able to go in a week or so . . . other than that, though, I'm looking for resources - books, websites, etc.
I'm thinking that making a dinosaur lapbook might be a lot of fun - I know that I'd be doing most of the work, of course . . . is she too young for that kind of thing, do you think? I could suggest she paint a dinosaur to put in it, we could find pictures and such - she doesn't read yet, but is becoming very interested in "What does that word say?".
She's been using her magnetic drawing board to draw a dinosaur that "loves leaves to eat, but doesn't love people to eat", so she's already learning about herbivores and carnivores
Any other suggestions?
