Yes, I would. The tutors are only on the set becaus that is where the kids are. The tutors aren't homeschoolers-- like you and I are-- but the child is educated "at home." Or on the tour bus, or in their dining room on days off from work....

I don't think the passion you got up there was directed at you. It's pretty hard when people pull their children out of school and educate them at home, only to be told they're not "really homeschoolers" by other kinds of homeschoolers. It's weird.

Dh, dd, and I met Terri Irwin at Costco a few weeks ago at her book signing of Steve and Me. She was the nicest lady!!! I told her how much we love Bindi and I asked her where Bindi was and she said she was in LA doing school work over the weekend so she could have some days off during the week to do some special things with mom.

I think she is doing an amazing job being a single mom and carrying on Steve's legacy. With all of Bindi's amazing experiences and teaching (by her mom, late dad, or tutor), I don't think it matters what you call it. In my opinion though, I consider it homeschooling.

I met Terri at a book signing at my husband's book store. I was talking to one of the zoo folks that accompanied her(I think it was a relative of Steve's cause he looked like family). More accurately, she is tutored at home. "Miss Emma" is a zoo employee who does the teaching. Her mother isn't doing the teaching, but it does allow them to stay together as a family and do all the trips around the world. At the signing I was told Bindi was back at the hotel doing her homework.

I think "tutored at home" is a perfect way to describe it!
