Guess what?! I am finally pregnant!!

I am 36/37 weeks and I am FINALLY pregnant according to the rest of the world. I am being told I have popped, people are smiling at me, whispering about my being ready to go, touching the belly, asking me if I am due now, etc.

Isn't that hilarious? It takes me until the 9th month to look pregnant!

Your thread titles never fail to crack me up! I got my first "Oh my gosh, you must be about to pop" comment yesterday. Honestly, I think that's the first time in my life I've ever got that comment. I've always been on the small side with my pregnant bellies.

Congrats on your pregnancy!

Congratulations Gina!

On my last day of work on Friday (when I locked myself out of house and car) I came in to work and announced that it was official - I was pregnant! Certainly had the preggo brain to prove it that day (and today I drove away from the store with a bag of groceries on top of the car - so I really must be pregnant now).

Oh Gina. I know how you feel. It's been different for me this time around, but usually I'm the same way and it's kind of annoying at times that people don't think you "look" pg. I'm glad your blossoming!!!

Hee, my dad told me on the phone the other day, "You don't sound pregnant!" And I was like, "gee, what does pregnant sound like, exactly?" I've gotten a few people asking me when I'm due, and when I tell them "last wednesday" they're shocked that I'm that pregnant. Part of me feels I have to get HUGE before I'm going to be able to go into labor.

Woo hoo!

Maybe your next post will be one of those "rude things people say when you look very pregnant" ones.

One of my gal pals has that all wrapped up! She noticed I popped and so now every time I come over she tells me I can't sit on her new couch because my water might break. I HOPE SO.
I forgot to tell you that I have told her I am going to be camping out on her couch from now on.

Last night I told her that I had an even better idea... I would come over after my water breaks and have the baby on the couch since she's so worried about amniotic fluid. Surely the other fluids won't be so bad.

Her husband laughed and said the couch has a body fluids warranty and he can just push me into the garage on the couch. He just wants it off the white carpet.

WOW! People never cease to amaze me. That's just terribly rude!!! :

Did I tell you about my gal pal who asked me if I was feeling really pregnant (a few weeks ago)? I said "oh yeah." She says "well, you're looking really pregnant, you've even got the back fat to go along with it now." Wow, thanks, really, didn't need you to tell me that. :

I think people are really really afraid to say anything even when it's obvious... in my mind I've been very obviously pregnant for several months now, but only recently did I start getting comments BEFORE I mentioned I was pregnant. Until then, people were waiting for ME to bring it up, just in case, you know, I was actually holding a basketball inside my shirt instead. But a week ago a grocery store clerk looked at me with eyes wide and said "You look like you could go at any time!!!!" (What do you say to that?)

I've just finally started to get tons of comments too (38 weeks). I went grocery shopping and to the bank on Wednesday, and I decided that maybe my Guns N Roses shirt just made me seem very approachable ; I had the old ladies touching my stomach, the clerks asking me questions, a guy that said, "You're about to drop!", and some other stuff I can't remember (yes, I'm pg ).

I showed a LOT earlier with DS, and I was getting comments about being ready to pop or even overdue when I was only five or six months along. : It's been a little strange that it's taken this long for the peanut gallery to chime in this time around!
