The birthing center is a separate building, but just adjacent to the Morrisville Hospital Copley. So I would just go right next door!

I don't have an appointment with those midwives (at Copley) until the 16th so I haven't even toured the birthing center yet. I have heard good things though.

My last birth was a wonderful homebirth and I'm hoping for the same this time around.
i'm so jealous! we're just a 20min ride to the ambassador bridge. every time we drive past, i remind dh how great it would have been to have moved to the windsor-ish area instead of here.

i'm in portland, or. we moved here a few years ago. i really like it. i am also encountering that too many midwives to call, though. and i don't like the phone and always accidentally leave long, rambling voicemails. :

AnneCordelia (I love your username, btw!!), I'm in Ontario too, in the greater KW area. So glad midwives are covered under OHIP. We attempted a HB last time but transferred to hospital...I think we'll try the HB again.

I'm in the UK, just north of London. I had a HB with my second baby and will be having one again this time 'round.

I'm in Maine, but I'm originally from RI and dh is originally from Mass. I lived in Boston for 10 years which is where we met. I miss being close to the city. The back of our house faces the woods, and people hunt back there and it really freaks me out. We hope to move back to SE Mass where both of our families are soon - as soon as my inlaws decide to help us buy a new house since it's so $$$$ down there. ;-)

I'm from upstate NY (Albany area). I will have to find a new OB/midwife because the one I used for my last pregnancy is 45 min away.
