Total: $382.68

Plus tomorrow I pick up out first organic farm co-op box. That is going to be $28.

I won't be buying any more food this month, so I thought I'd put up my grand total. My goal was to keep my grocery bill below $600 this month. We have 3 adults (my mother lives with us) and a 5yo dd.

Total for the month that I spent: $576.20 Of this, I spent $54.67 on processed foods like canned biscuits, organic crackers & all-natural turkey breast. The rest was whole foods, approximately 50% organic.

Total that dh spent (his fav foods for snacking, which are mostly nut/grain/fruit mixes and seasonal fruit the rest of us don't eat like pomegranate): $50.62

If anyone read my thread about having to bring snack in for dd's class this week and next, these figures don't include that. Snack: $36.39

So, including absolutely everything: $663.21

I feel good that I met *my* goal. I don't count snack, as it will happen only these two weeks this year.

Next month my goal is to keep *everything* (including dh's purchases) below $600.
