My friend's 14 month old baby died

I've written this post and deleted it half a dozen times. It's not even my story to tell, but I'm just heartbroken over my friend's loss. Her beautiful 14 month old daughter died two weeks ago. Her dd was born with a metabolic disorder (MACD). She was growing well and thriving. Then she caught a stomach bug from her older siblings. She was sick for a day, then gone.

We lit a candle for Lilly Rose in our church service today. A tiny gesture towards a gaping, fathomless grief.
