Control - The Joy Division movie

Has anyone seen it yet?

My sister and I went today and all I have to say is - what on EARTH made me think it would end differently? I know how Ian Curtis died, but :

The movie was very well done, Sam Riley was amazing and extremely convincing as Ian Curtis. The movie was done in black and white and it gave nice gloomy effect.

My sister and I didn't talk until we were almost home. I think we both knew if we did we wouldn't stop crying. I don't think I've ever been to a movie where everyone leaves the theater crying - even the men.

I could live a little better with the myths and the lies,
When the darkness broke in, I just broke down and cried.
I could live a little in a wider line,
When the change is gone, when the urge is gone,
To lose control. When here we come.

It's not in my area right now, but BF and I are so looking forward to it. Just watching the trailer when it first came out had BF and I shaking our heads at Sam Riley as Ian. What a great casting call!
