Vanilla:
3 cups cream or milk, or some combination thereof
1/2 - 1 cup sugar
1 -3 tsp. vanilla
Mix until sugar is dissolved. Chill mixture for at least 30 min. Freeze in ice-cream maker. Makes 1 qt.
Cookies and Cream:
Use vanilla recipe, adding broken sandwich cookies during the last 5 minutes of freezing.
Mint Chocolate Chip:
Use vanilla recipe, substituting peppermint flavoring for the vanilla. Add chocolate chips (either use mini chips, or pulse the chocolate chips to chop them slightly in the blender) during the last 5 minutes of freezing.
Chocolate:
1 cup milk
2 cups cream
1/2 -3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
In a saucepan, scald milk (heat until bubble form around the edges). In a blender/food processor, combine sugar and chips. Add scalded milk, and process until the sugar mixture is melted in smoothly. Chill several hours. Add cream. Freeze in ice-cream maker. Makes 1 qt.

Here is mine using only raw ingredients:
I have to say I don't have quatities, I sort of wing it, this usally makes enough for four people who aren't going to pig out on the ice cream!
"French Vanilla"
Around a pint of fresh raw cream, if you don't have that much cream add raw milk instead. 2 raw eggs, 2 tablespoons of raw butter and 3 tablespoons of raw unheated honey, a small papaya and a teaspoon (or more according to your taste) of vanilla extract. Blend together and add to ice cream maker.
"Chocolate" every thing as above, except I add a table spoon of raw chocolate powder. My family also loves mango ice cream, same ingredients minus the vanilla with fresh mango blended in.

I got my most favorite ice cream recipe from recipezaar.com. IT is a mint chocolate chip ice cream recipe- (you can search for that)- however, I didn't have mint so I left out the peppermint extract and it made an amazing vanilla. (also makes a great cookies and cream) It is a recipe for a small ice cream maker.
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup sugar
I have substituted evaporated milk for the heavy cream- it was ok. I have also subbed kefir for part of the milk- would need more adjusting on the sugar unless you used vanilla kefir!
Another fav. recipe of mine is to use strawberries pureed in the blender- with some kefir- but more strawberry than kefir. (trying to equal about 2 cups after pureed) then either 2 cups of milk, or a mix of milk and heavy cream (if you only use milk it is more like a sorbet or an icee- of course you could go lighter on teh stawberries and heavier on the kefir I guess too.) I add about the same amount of sugar as above.
