Anyone nursing another babe still? - Page 2

I am nursing my 15 month old ds. So far he seems to be keeping with his pre-preg schedule of about 5-6 nurses in 24 hours. I have no idea how my milk is holding out. He seems to be nursing for the same amount of time but pulling much more strongly at the nipple which is making me a little sore. Other than that we are hanging in there.

I'm still nursing my 2 year old (he'll be 25 months on Friday). I nursed my first until I was 5 or 6 months pregnant with DS2. At the time, I couldn't really handle tandem and was ready to be done (DS1 was 2 yo when he weaned). I'm not sure what I'll do this time around. I guess I've got some time to decide, as I just got a BFP today.

Finnegansmom, my DD is totally glommed on to me these past few days, too! I wonder if she can sense something different (drop in supply, maybe?) or if it's just that she's teething?

Ivy is 20 months and is still nursing overnight. I stopped pumping around 1 year and stopped visiting at lunch to nurse a few months later. About a month ago we severely curtailed her nursing in an effort to restore menses -- and it worked! Now she's mostly only nursing before bed, overnight if she wakes and in the AM before day care. On weekends, she occasionally nurses during the day, but I try to give her other options. I checked with her this morning while she was nursing: "You like nursing, right?" Nod. "Does it taste good?" Nod. No changes yet, I guess!

We plan to continue nursing as long as she wants.
