Post partum doula training?

Thread Starter
I have an opportunity to attend DONA's post partum workshop in January. Post partum work appeals to me simply because it is more scheduled and less last minute hairy time crunch sort of thing, and because I am very interested in helping women breastfeed (I am working on other angles of that as well), and because I just feel like anyone that helps out after the birth of a baby must be an angel sent from heaven! I wish I'd had one!

Anyway, I just wanted to see what other people had decided with regards to post partum work, and how they found the training if they've taken it.

Birth Arts International does PP doula training. You can sponsor a workshop in AZ and attend for a discount or free depending on how many attendees you get to come

Is Birth Arts Int. training accepted by DONA?
