nicknames for babes to be?

We always nickname our babies before they are born because we never have ultrasounds to determine gender.
#4 is already being dubbed "Speck"
#3 was "Shrimp"
#2 was "Baby in the Belly in the GREAT BIG BELLY"
#1 was "Land Land"

Any others with nicknames yet?

Awww, those are all so sweet! We just told the kids last night... so far it's just Baby. I bet they'll get more creative as time goes by.

We have just been calling the baby peanut for now

seems our blanket in-utero name has become "buddy lee". it was what we called dd, and it's crept out of our mouths a few times now this time too. we're a pretty nick-name heavy family though, so it's quite possible this new babe will develop a new nick-name.

Gleebus! In our first pregnancy, DH and I got confused over whether DD was an embryo or a fetus, so we made up a new term -- "the gleebus stage." Before I got pregnant this time, we referred to the potential future baby as Baby Next. But since finding out, it's been Gleebus.

Ivy was "lentil." It makes me grin just to type that name again.

I don't have a sense for this little one yet.

Okay, I guess my kids thought of a name. That was fast! It's...

Mr. Peanutbutter

Now... what if it's a girl!?!?

lol, cute names. i love buddy lee!

we haven't started in w the nicknames yet. dd was bean (until we found out when we were having a girl, then we just called her her name.) and ds was philbert. i have no idea where that came from.

Mini Pizzie.

My FIL calls my oldest Pizzie, my youngest Little Pizzie, so my husband and I have started calling this baby Mini Pizzie.

Tiny face

i know its wierd but it stems from us calling DS blanket face because he takes his lovey and rubs it all over his face when he is tired.

My son was Junebug (or bug). So far this one has been bug #2, but we keep saying we need to come up with something better!

We're calling this one "Fred". Could be Frederick or Winifred.
Yes, we're crazy Harry Potter fans (Fred...sniff)

DD1 was called "peanut"; we still call her that to this day!!!

This one we call "#4 of 6"; because it's the fourth baby for each of us; we both have two from our first marriages and now two together.

It's shows how geeky we are

This one (4th pregnancy) is "Itty Bitty"

Our first (m/c'ed at 5w) was "Bean"
Our second (DS Andrew) was "Little Sucka"
Our third (m/c'ed at 12w) was "Baby B"

We had been trying not to nickname this one, just in case we m/c'ed again, but we couldn't help ourselves. We get very attached very early, so we just HAVE to name the baby.

No "7 of 9" for us!!! we love kids, but this is definatly the last one!!!

I didn't have nicknames for my first 2 babies, but the 3rd one was "Sweet Pea".
Not sure what this one will be yet...

We called our first Poptart and eventually shortened it to Poppi. It took us about 6 months to stop calling our daughter that once she arrived. I think this time we will go with something a bit more abstract so we can replace the nickname more easily once the babe arrives! But what that name will be? ...who knows, my daughter will probably make it up once we tell her!
