Why don't we have an ongoing thread? :
I'd love to hear about what everyone is doing.

It was hard to get out of bed today with the cold temps.
I have to get dd to get dressed and eat so we can start our homeschool activities for the day. We've taken some time off because I've been sick but her vacation is over!

Yay for a Kansas thread!

We drove into Topeka for DS1's Kindermusik class and then did some shopping. I'm almost done with my Christmas shopping, which is unheard of for me!

I'm planning to check out your homeschool blog... I'm very interested in HSing the kiddos but I haven't won over DH on that one yet.

It's warmed up a bit here too. Dd and I took our doggie out and played in some leaves. I don't know who had more fun crunching through the pile.

I haven't started any Christmas shopping. I've started thinking about it at least.
I have some things to sew that I should start on.

I just added an entry to my blog yesterday.

Hi Kansas mamas!

Kim, I've always wondered, where in ne ks are you?

We're in Lenexa :Puke right now, but hoping to be in Lawrence soon. (Sorry, I just don't like Jo-co.)

I like the weather. Lived in Phoenix, and I missed this chilliness a lot. I'm so ill-prepared though. Need to find my sweaters and scarves!

Gumby- We are about a 15 minute drive from the Kansas- Nebraska border in Brown County.

What's everyone planning for the weekend?
We're not doing much because dh has had to be in KC most of the week for work and he's tired of driving. Lately we've had a lot of visitors so I'm glad not to have guests this weekend.

I am vegetating, I had a bad ear infection last week and I just feel like sitting at home.

Hello again!

I'm actually really enjoying the cooler weather...although, it does make for an interesting challenge having a baby that loves to be naked

I have to march in a parade for veterans day on Monday in Leavenworth : But it looks like it may get rained out!:
