I have had off and on spotting that progressively gets lighter. The first time i had it was the day after I got my BFP and it was pink accompanied with some cramping and lasted 24 hours. Then it stopped for 2 days and came back lighter. It has been gone a few days and now it is very light, only noticed it when i wiped and some mild cramps. Last time I told my dr was told it was normal but it is freaking me out because it keeps coming back. What is the spotting from? I am scared

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Your Doc should check you for Low Progesterone-this can cause spotting and there are ALL kinds of different meds to help(from natural progesterone creams to oral meds etc). Good Luck with a sticky babe!

I've spotted with every one of my pregnancies, and with my two kids, it stopped at the end of the first trimester and I had perfectly normal pregnancies after that. It's pretty common, and doesn't necessarily mean miscarriage, especially if it gets lighter for you. Progesterone may have something to do with it, and it is very common to have spotting at the time you would have gotten your period, so when you got your BFP makes sense. I hope it's nothing serious for you.

I agree with quarteralien. I had the same thing with my pregnancy throughout the first trimester ... spotting when AF would be due. Everything turned out fine, but it sure did make for a stressful first trimester. I hope everything is okay for you. I'd probably go the the doc too, just for a little reassurance.
