Hey

We are doing pretty well.

Theo is doing a lot better than i expected .. but wants to be on momma a lot. so i am learning to nurse witha 2 yo holding my hair. it is ok but Theo wants to hold and pat the baby a lot ... fine line between distracting and trying to protect baby and not discoraging Theo's intrest. :

Mom leaves Friday, Scott has a three day weekend then Tusaday i am on my own.

Life is getting a little more rotuine -- sleeping at night is still up in the air. Theo rocks to sleep on me in the lving room, someone carries him to HIS bed, Scott and I go to bed with Chrles, then when Theo wakes up Scott goes to his room, in the morning when Scott gets up to go to work my mom moves in with Theo ..... so that needs work before Mom leaves, I'd like to get Theo back tot he family bed at least part of the night ..... Scott may have to bring him in to our room int he middle of the night , i don't see moving him at 6 am or even 5 am as a good option, he'd likly wake up and stay awake.

Charle is getting his days and night fixed, more aleart day time and more sleeping night time, but we are not there yet.

We are falling into a routine, where Theo and I get our morning shower today -- right after C eats -- and so on .....

Sorry I am MIA right now ........... we are doing better and i see a light .....

It is good to hear how you're doing! Finding a new routine is tough but it sounds like you guys are getting it all figured out. Good luck!

Aimee: sounds like you are all adjusting well. It will take time and may never be "perfect" but it's soooo worth it and I had a feeling that Theo would do just fine. I'm sure there will be those challenging days, but EVERYONE has them. Glad to hear from you - thanks for checking in.

I've been wondering how you are doing. Hope you get a few things settled and into a routine before your mom has to leave.

Mom leaves tomorrow

A great uncle of mine died so she can't stay longer, was planning to leave tomorrow anyway now she has to -- my grandparenst are 90+ so mom will have to go with them to the rosey and funeral and so on

there is something that seems almost "set" kinda --- get up, pump, feed Charles (somehow feed Theo at same time, give him food whil i pump? the prop is keeping him on task to eat ANYTHING while i do anything else) ... then Charles is content, cehck e-mail, shower ... feed chalres again.

course babies change so fast ... how long wiill this patteren last???

feed charles around 11:30 -- lay down at 12 for nap .....

it is starting to work out a little ......

Scott has been sleeping with T in T's room, but 6 am getting up is a pain, T wakes up when Scott gets up, and sometimes won't go back down .....

so THAT needs work.

Also have no clue how going out of the house is ever gonna work .....

but all in all

it is 100 times better than i was afraid of and 10 times better than i hoiped
