Wonder when I should start hounding the mamas we haven't heard from in a while????

NOW! I am going crazy wondering how they are doing! And also, wondering how many are *really* left... I only know for sure about the 4 of us (me, Lizzie, sasha, and dcgrl) who have posted most recently in the overdue thread...

I'm still here. Slightly more optimistic today though. Yesterday and today I have actually have contractions that feel crampy instead of just the BH that I have been having forever. I met with my midwife today and she said the baby's head is engaged more in the pelvis so hopefully this will get me on the path to labor soon. Or at least get me dilated, which I still not at all. I am either 43 weeks or 42 weeks tomorrow depending on the count. We are going with 42.

I haven't had a chance to check in, but Jordan Zoe was born 11/30. My EDD was 11/21 and the doctor induced me 11/29 overnight for no other reason than I was post-due. It was extremely intense, had cervadil overnight, then the doc got impatient, and within an hour broke my water AND started Pitocin (ouch!), but the baby is well, and that is all that matters.

I really want to thank everyone on this list for being there during those last few days. Checking on this DDC and especially this thread was such a lifesaver. Thanks, Gina, especially, for hanging in there even after you had your baby.

Well, seeing as I have nothing better to do, I started looking up these mamas who haven't posted.

It looks like you can pink Mama2Alexa; I think her baby girl was born in October...

Really?!?!

I posted on the overdue thread, but wanted to let you know I think it is my turn too. I have been having contractions all day about 5 mins apart. They are coming a bit quicker now, especially when I am standing or walking. They are also getting more intense. I think this baby will be coming tomorrow! Yeah!!

It is never going to be my turn. :

I think I might be in early labor.

And I got a new OB just yesterday. (If anyone saw my post, the old one tried to trick me into an induction at 38 weeks by telling me I was in labor...2 weeks later, she was still trying to say I was STILL in labor. So now I'm alost 41 weeks, and I just lost some mucous, had 2 contractions, and found some blood in my underwear. So NOW I am actually probably in labor.

Undercover Hippie...you might be the winner. I was so sure I was going to be the last of us.
I might not really be in labor, though. That might have been a false alarm. The blood was dark, like it might have been sorta old...and I did have my cervix checked last night by the new OB, and that might have ...done something...to cause that...maybe?

Is it just the two of us left now still posting? Is yogamama still gestatin'?

ahh...just checked the list..

And then there were two (people still posting about their overdueness, at least).

Tara, I thought for SURE I would be in your shoes and be the one crying. It felt lonely just THINKING I might be the last. I can only imagine how you feel.

We'll revisit this in 6 months and see if the baby has a turtle personality. I was a month overdue and I was a VERY easy baby and have always been a turtle.

Baby, come out!!!
