Just sent notes to MandarijnOrange, dcgrl, VeganLove, thehappydeer; sibelius; sasha44; S&JsMom; novembermama13, and Lizzie9984.

A few could still be in labor and I am bugging them already

Whoops! I'm relieved and excited to report that James Brian arrived on November 8th. He was 7lbs 1 oz and 21". He was induced at 38 wks 1 day because of my full-term stillbirth last year. Induction was a drag - it took 24 hours - but he's here, he's alive and he's healthy.

Unfortunately, we've jetted straight into colic, so that's why it's been tough to keep up.

Congratulations to everyone!

Sarah
Sam - 4 1/2
Angel Jacob - Born still at 40 weeks in May '06
Jamie - 28 days old today!

Or you might have 2+ weeks left and I might be the best bet... at 43+3 I'll be having this baby any second, right? That's what I keep telling myself, despite my irrational feeling that I will actually never go into labor...

I THINK we can assume:

-- MandarijnOrange, dcgrl, VeganLove, and Lizzie9984 have had their babies and will hopefully let us know soon.
-- We may not hear from thehappydeer, sasha44, sibelius, and novembermama13.

So once Tara (Undercover_Hippie) and mamakay have their babies I will close down the thread. I am far too obsessed to keep it up with no word from anyone!!!

Yes, probably true. I keep hoping some of the unknowns will PM you back so we can find out how things are going for them!!!! I am glad you are as obsessed as you are and have kept up with it so well. That is how my mind works too... Thanks!

Hey all, I'll post up a little report and pics as soon as I can, but in a nutshell, I ended up undergoing an emergency repeat C (legit reason) on Wednesday night (the 5th) and we welcomed "Daddy's Little Angel" into the world at 43w:

Angela Quinn ******
6 pounds 8 ounces
19 and 1/2 inches

With a FULL HEAD of reddish-brown hair, complete with blonde streaks Not as "hairy" as Tom Cruise's kid, though

Despite the c-section, it was a great experiance overall, that'll be explained when I post her birth story asap

Thanks Gina
She's sleeping happily on daddy's tummy right now, and daddy's getting some dirty looks from our youngest cat, who's obviously not the baby of the family anymore and seems to know it

I'm going to take my time posting the birth story, I'm on a relatively strong Percocet prescription right now for the section pain. Makes me pretty fuzzy-minded and I tend to doze off at the drop of a hat (reason why dad's got her right now) This caffeine jolt from the coffee's not going to last too long, so I don't think I'll be writing anything up tonight, but maybe tomorrow or Sunday.

Congrats Lizzie! I am so happy your baby is with you--not too big either, I think she knew what she was doing, staying in there and cooking longer! Sending healing vibes for your c/s... hope you are feeling better soon. Looking forward to hearing more when you're up for it.

He's here . .

. . update for me. .

My son was born Nov 1st at 4.03pm. He was 7 pounds and 9 ounces. 20 1/4 inches long.

As of 11/26 he was 8lbs 15oz and 22 1/2 inches. He's a growing boy!

Life has been very crazy since. But things are settled now and he is doing great

Whew. Finally! My baby finally joined us Dec 5th at 9:51.
Michael Robert was 10lb 6oz, 21.5 inches long. He is adorable and we love him. It wAsn't exactly the birth I planned, but who really plans for 24 hours of unmedicated back labor, stalling at 8cm for 5 hours, and finally an unplanned c-section.

You can see pics of the boy at http://www.ohlooknps.com/unc/ Our family password is 6525 and mother's name (that's me) is Rebecca.

Thanks for all the support! I'll check in again soon!
