Countdown to Babies. Waiting to hear from 2 moms - Page 5

Hello all, and GinaRae, that PM made my day
Long story short, I haven't been on here much because we moved the last weekend of October, and has to wait until TONIGHT for our DSL to be activated at this address----A loooooong, boring wait, I've been dying to get on here and see who's still knocked up!

And count me in as one who's still cooking a baby....According to the start of my LMP, I'm 41 weeks and 1 day right now. I haven't had so much as a lick of anything that remotely resembles labor or any kind of progression towards it. :

Ditto! I am beginning to feel like the PP who said Gina will never have to worry about pinking her name because she's going to be PG forever...

I'm still waiting.....A little irritated, considering my EDD was 12 days ago now : I told my hubby last night I'm about ready to reach up there and drag the stubborn little brat out myself

6 days past due for me and not a sign of labor in sight. My cervix is practically locked shut still. I am just praying I have this baby in November because our insurance only runs till then and of course no one will insure me while I am still preggers. Come on baby! Get a move on.

i'm still pg but feel like w/in the next few days things are gonna change...

saw my MW tonight and baby is still down where he's been, anterior and in position. what a sweet little honey... i am so excited to meet him. i have more energy today and tonight too. my MW could see it that i'm ready...cvx was hard to get to but that is normal for after the first child so i'm not worried...i could feel the back ache/pains when she was moving around in my cvx (so gently as she is i might add...) so that explains that ache...babies head probably is making my back hurt there...right by my tail bone on either side in my butt...butt bones... i'm sayin' by saturday, the full moon he'll be here.

I'm in labor, finally!

EDD today. Nothing doing.
Baby's lower, right on my tailbone which have I mentioned is broken? Ow!

Come on baby, you can't stay there for too long! It hurts!

EDD is in two days according to LMP but according to when I think I O'd I'm 40 W 2 Days.

I wasn't impatient before, but now that he's on my broken tailbone, I'm not so happy. :

EDD was yesterday, and at my appointment today the Dr. said she thought the baby had dropped, but it looks like she's popped back up---my cervix is very high, and not dilated (maybe a tiny fingernail's amount---not enough to strip membrane), but soft and a little more effaced.

She said she thinks I'll just get to have a nice Thanksgiving...my fingers are crossed and I'm praying for something to happen at the full moon on Saturday.

What else can I do???:

still here, still pg..... I don't think my name is ever going to go red or pink.... *sigh*
post #97 of 207
Well, I had my 40w appt yesterday and OB insisted on doing the check. I asked him not to tell me, but he said he had to b/c if I was dilated, etc., he had to tell me to come in sooner if anything started happening at home than if I wasn't. Anyway, of course I'm nothing - totally posterior, the same exact thing as last time, when I was induced unsuccessfully at 41 weeks and then successfully at 42 weeks. I guess I just have to accept that I will most likely have a December baby at this point. Very, very discouraging, but I have no control over it.

I just noticed Mothragirl had her baby (she posted on the Dec DDC) so you can pink her!

Thanks, Gina. I am home alone today and tomorrow. I am officially in hibernation mode and dh took ds to the big dinner and I stayed home with my laptop and about 5 DVDs to watch. I'm doing nothing but eating and sitting. It's at the point where I'm not even hungry anymore but it seems to be the only activity worth getting out of bed for. :

My in-laws are on dh's case why is he leaving me alone, what happens if I go into labor, etc. So annoying, since the likelihood of me actually starting labor is very close to nil. I'm just really bored right now and wishing I could fast-forward the next 2 weeks of my life.
