I have one and love it. Will come in handy too a little later when he's in his own room.

I have one of these Solay salt lamps (like the one in the left side of the photo) and they are SO WORTH it! The bigger one fills my room with a warm, orange glow. Not badly enough to interrupt sleep, and yet I can see in the middle of the night. It will be perfect for nursing! I bet even the small ball lamp on the bedside table would really help.

I had one of those touch lites- like for in the closet? Just little round lites that you push on and off they run on 4 AA batteries- and that worked well for my family. I had it right on the wall above my head and I could push it when LO woke up, and push again when we were done. You can find some that aren't bright at all.
You and DH need to talk about this... sleeping in the bathroom isn't good for anyone. And not talking isn't going to help anyone. Maybe if DH knows that you hear him, then he'll lighten up. Hang in there Mama!

Do you have different rules for the weekend? Told dh I would need his help since he doesn't have to work today. He snuck off to the spare room.

Yeah, I expect more in the way of help on the weekends, and dh is usually pretty good about it. He was much better when dd1 was an infant, though - he got up with every feeding to change her diaper. Guess the baby novelty has worn off with this one. Boy I miss those days!

We do have a deal where one of us gets up with the kids Saturday morning and the other gets up Sunday morning, so we each get a morning to sleep in. Unfortunately, I am much better at keeping a quiet, peaceful household than he is, so usually he gets to sleep much later.

Anyway, I love mine too - I sleep much better on my right side, and simply don't feel comfortable turning my back on the baby, partly because if I am going to move, it will be to flop over on my back, which obviously could be a problem. And it is nice too when dd1 wants to crawl into bed with us, as she can be in the middle and dd2 can be on the other side of me.
