Baby item oddities

I was just doing some baby laundry and lo and behold, many of the sleepers and socks have those gripper thingies on the feet. Do they expect that my newborn may be born WALKING? Why do they do that? She is really going to need treads??

Is there anything you all are wondering about?

Ha! Good point!
I always wondered why baby clothes have pockets--are they expecting the babies to have to store anything in there???

I asked about the grippy things at my shower. Really? Where is my 6 day old baby trecking off to?

We found them really helpful when Anna was little and liked to stand with help. If we were at the table or on a hard wood floor and she didn't have the grippies, she would slid all over the place and couldn't exercise those leg muscles like she liked to do.
