these toy recalls and kids getting sick is really something else. and now that i have a little guy to worry about once he's bigger and will be putting stuff in his mouth left and right, i worry even moreso than i did w/ megh...
the odd thing is megh was so set on getting those aqua dots. they were more than i thought at the grocery store the other day so i got her a barbie island princess doll instead. and then today, we were all set to get the aqua dots and there were NONE. they either sold out or...now that i saw the news clip on that little boy ingesting his big sister's aqua dots on yahoo i'm assuming they were removed from the shelf. these toys should be non-toxic. i don't give a hoot where they are made or come from...they should all be non-toxic inside and out. we shouldn't worry about our littler ones getting sick from the bigger kids toys and such...
: now i am not so sure i want to buy aqua dots. hmmm. although that could be w/ anything...paints megh has that are acrylics or moon sand maybe or whatever else. ugh. makes me just want to go wooden and totally natural.
