Hubby blew the surprise shower

I feel bad for him. He decided to throw me a surprise baby shower this Saturday. It's THURSDAY night. He has no idea how many can come and hasn't invited enough people yet. He's feeling like a failure and he finally cracked and told me.

I was supportive, but told him to call it off. It's too quick, they would feel better knowing whether it's a boy or girl, and I would feel like a loser when nobody shows up.

I honestly would rather have them come see the baby little by little in December than have a shower where 4 people show up and with the silly games my friend will want to do, etc.

Sweet gesture, but I hope hope hope he calls it off.
Okay, he just came in and said it's off. He's going to San Francisco that morning to pick up the 42 inch TV his boss is giving him : That's quite the turn around in themes I think

I hate that he feels like a failure though when he was trying to make me feel special. But at least no one will know that I know and instead he will tell them the truth in that I would rather have a meet n greet later in December after the baby is here. Period.

I am happy he is being sweet and supportive and finally paying attention. Listening to you I think is the best part!

That's so sweet of him. It really is the thought that counts the most, right. :
