This story was on the Cleveland news a week or so ago, and the woman in question is going to be in court today.
In Ravenna, Ohio, a woman from out of state named Catherine Donkers was arrested while driving on the Ohio Turnpike (speed limit 65mph) for breastfeeding her baby (I don't remember if the original story had the baby's age, but judging by the pictures, I'd say no older than 4 months) while driving. She is charged with 5 misdemeanors, including not having her baby in a infant car seat (a requirement in Ohio), and faces fines and jail time. I just visited the newstation's site, and the story has more details that they didn't include on the air:
I have my own opinions, but would like to wait to air them, so that I don't influence the discussion. Let me know what you think, please.
Peace,
Sang
