Anyone else feel like they are NOT about to go into labor?!

Not only do I feel like labor is no where even close, but I even feel really good right now. I have more energy this week and have been sleeping better and my SPD pain is improving.

But nothing is happening down there... no unusual cramping, no increase in vag fluid, no baby dropping or anything else that would lead me to believe labor is on the horizon.

I am very happy for the mamas with broken water, and imminent labor, and especially those with actually babies.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I feel good. But I just want to kiss and hold my little baby... I can't wait to meet him.

Yeah... me.... though I can't say I feel good. I feel awful. Not really due for another 2 weeks though, but man the pubic whatever-ya-call-it pain is worse every day. At this rate, in a week I'll be immobile. I'm crabby, tired of cleaning up after DH and tripping on his shoes, and my sleep is all wacked. Slept for 10 hours last night then needed a two hour nap this evening, now I don't know when I'll get back to sleep.

Thanks for letting me vent! I just want this baby out but it doesn't look like it's gonna happen anytime soon! Baby hasn't dropped at all.

I'm right there with ya! I have had no indication baby is coming anytime soon. As more and more gets crossed off my checklist the more I want baby to come though!

I have regular BHs that are SO ANNOYING all evening when I am sitting, but that's it.

I feel baby will be in utero until at least November 24th.

I'm not due until 11/15 and I feel nowhere remotely close to delivering. Its seriously stressing me out. If another person says "So, are you going to decide to have this baby soon or what?", I'm going to commit ritual seppuku. No one in my entire family has ever gone over due, or even to their due date (DS was 2 weeks early). My sister and SIL and I all delivered every single kid early. Everyone was expecting me to do the same this time, and its NOT happening.

I have no labor signs at all. NONE! I am not having any contractions. Not lost my plug. No show. Nothing but the usual back pain and myriad annoyances of very late pregnancy. :

I think i am going to go until my 42 week limit ( the 29th of Nov), have to be transferred to an OB, get induced and end up getting strong-armed into a repeat c-section, all after working so hard to have our HBAC. :


This baby is NEVER coming out. I'm going to be pregnant forever, like an elephant.

Gina I think there's a full moon on the 24th... that's the day after my EDD, so I'm gunning for that one too. Maybe our babies will have the same birthday

i'm hoping for a full moon baby too! i'm having tons of BH, but nothing that indicates labor at ll. my EDD is 12/1

my EDD is 12/1. my baby dropped a week and a half ago, but i'm a first time mom, so it's not unusual to drop 4 weeks before giving birth.

other than that, i've had no positive signs. i'm just hanging out.

it's good, though. even though i'd love to meet my child and to not have the constant pain and daily annoyance of being so huge and limited activity-wise, i'm savoring every day of silence, every full night of rest, every minute of alone time with my honey.

Aren't we close to a new moon... I am hoping a new moon will bring me into labor. Forget the full moon.

I am really trying to come to peace with the babe arriving whenever he is ready, but I'd really like him to be here by Thanksgiving, only because I want to eat a GIANT meal--I mean PIG OUT!

I hope I dream about mashed potatoes tonight... yum!

I keep thinking about that and worried that I am getting my hopes up TOO much!

But still curious. The night of the last full moon, the baby was whomping around in there SO hard. It was not normal movement. So I keep wondering what the 24th will be like.

Long time ago I predicted the 24th. Then I found out it was a full moon. Would be so cool if I am right!

I just want all these other mamas that are due for my midwives to CLEAR OUT so late November is mine!
