I am not having real contractions, but I feel odd today. Just now while letting pets in for the night I soaked my undies. I keep hoping it was just pee thanks to baby punching my blader or something. Hard to tell as I had the undies on all day and all they smell like to me is vagina. LOL So washed said vagina, put clean undies on and am now laying in bed with a very active baby in my tummy in hopes that I stay dry......

I was just eating what ever I could find in the kitchen and baby is active, those are not normal labor right? Right?

No real contractions as far as I can tell.... Baby so active.

Almost 5am and I managed to nap. It happened again, another pair of undies soaked. Three times in one night when I never do that...... Been contracting but no pattern, nothing I would call real. Trying so hard to get some rest and not worry. I thought I wanted a baby in the middle of the night and I think part of me is waiting till morning so I can wake others up without feeling badly.

I am NOW certain my water broke. 5 pairs of undies latter. LOL I finally caved and put a pad on. No real interesting contractions still. A little concerned as I feel like I am now on a clock.

Called mid-wives office, talked to a student to give them a heads up and they will check back in a few hours.

Still hard to believe.

The lady above had her water break weeks before baby was born, and all was well.

Even though they're not regular yet, you are contracting and so you're probably a day or so away, congratulations.

Don't feel sad that "nothing is happening" just because contrax aren't regular, they serve to reposition baby and get everything into perfect order sometimes, so rest assured that something IS happening, you're having a baby!

Congratulations, I'm so jealous.

10am I managed to sleep a little. No real contractions now that I can tell! Wow this is odd, my water broke with DS and he was out 6 hours after. I have never labored like this before and this is my 5th! Amazed.

I need to find someone to shopping with me and someone else to watch the kids. Nothing in the house I want to eat and nothing for company either. Not to mention I think Midwives will say to walk when they do call again.



That would be so funny if I could go yet another week without baby!

Midwife said we are ok till tomorrow morning, she wants to keep temping to make sure I do not get a fever. Said to eat, drink, walk. But right now I am thinking more sleep.
