Something might be up

Geez, I wish I didn't remember waking up in early labor with DS so well... then I wouldn't think this current bout of "gas" was anything!

It's been half an hour that I've been up, out of bed, but don't know how long I was in bed before that with this over-bloated, crampy feeling... JUST LIKE DS! I did have a spicy Italian sub for lunch and the other 6" for dinner so it could very well be just stomach upset, but nothing stomach upset-ish is happening when I go to the bathroom. Usually I can sleep through stomach upset. I can't sleep.

If these are indeed mild contractions, I have to ask: how have you women gone back to bed after contractions started? For one, I just can't sleep through it, two.... what if I have a baby as a result!!!!

I'll probably post later this afternoon all embarrased and vowing never to get Subway again... Or you won't hear from me for a couple days

Well...you're probably sleeping now. And now I'M up with the same thing... but my system totally emptied itself. :

That's all...well, that's not all...but I'm trying not to think of it because I don't want to deal with the thought that I'm going to feel labor-y for the next three weeks always wondering "is this it? is this it?"

Dare I say it's happened twice more?

beginning the mantra: "Things do NOT feel different. Things do NOT feel different."

TUB. I would be in the tub if I was 100% my water broke. I am just 90% and want another gush or too or some real pain to hit before I try that.

I hope you get that bit of clarity soon, Kimmy. Looks promising though.

Dang Subway!!!!!!!!!!!! :

I'm such a sucker for false alarms.

Same here - I never had a falso alarm with ds and dd, and here I am thinking "this is it", nope, goes away!

i LOVVVVE subway. i always get every veggie on it including spinach & jalopenos and banana peppers, and sweet onion sauce. yum. now i want a subway sandwich...on cheesy herb bread. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

for now i better rest up for my moving-into my new condo rental down the way...i'm beat suddenly... (see my nesting thread for more info on this if you want)

i have been looking at every sign for impending early labor, wondering if this is sheamas gearing up...picking up the pace.....today all of a sudden my cervix pinched and owww that hurt. my mom was like well why are you holding your hip if your cervix is the one in pain...i said i don't know, to steady myself!? i wonder if that cervix pinching is a sign of effacement/dilation....??? hmmm. i really do feel sheamy will come before the 14th. we shall see. just hope he waits til tonight once i'm in the new place. it is so nice! the king size bed comforter is a nice royal looking reddish/rust color and it has this gold design i don't think its flowers or maybe a more celtic-y type of floral design...its nice. i am lovin' our new pad. megh is stoked too. my mom and her boyf and us are already planning on christmas being at our place. how sweet is that. :

when i was in labor w/ megh (early) i did sleep. labor started at about 7:30pm and i would fall asleep in between ctx's...i remember just lying on my left side on the end of the bed...the whole time my ex, jason, was sleeping on the couch or watching tv. i don't remember him in there at all w/ me. finally at like 3am i'd had enough and called the dr. i got to hospital only to find i was only 3 cm. pfffffff. that was really intimidating for me. anyway. this time i'm sure will go faster................hopefully.
