great...now I'm spotting...update

So, I've started spotting....since yesterday afternoon. It's brown blood and only happens when I wipe. It's just SO discouraging. My heart sunk when I saw it and a feeling of impending doom came over me. I know that's rather dramatic but it's how I feel. After going through two m/c's I almost feel angry about this. Like, if it's gonna happen go ahead and happen already. Just get on with it.
I got my numbers checked last week because of the lack of symptoms that I have-that even freaked my out.
Here's what they were-please scrutinize:
Day one:
4,393
3 days later:
11,459
By my calculations they are off by about 2,000 for it to follow the doubling.
Oh yea, and I had some mild cramping off to one side last night.
So anyway....that's my story. I am just praying that everything is ok. I'm gonna see if I can go in tomorrow and get a sono. Just so I know what's going on....sigh...thought it would be different this time.

Those numbers seem great! The doubling happens between 48-72 hours. Do you know how many DPO you are?

Spotting is normal for something like 30% (or more) of pregnancies I believe.

I can totally understand how much you are hurting. but try not to panic. I had spotting with my son and it was nothing. (I know everyone is different, but with my m/cs it didn't take long for the spotting to turn into full-blown bleeding. so don't lose hope).

I've been there. Just try to rest today. Drink plenty of water and do what you can to control the stress level-hard I know, maybe rent a funny movie. I hope it's okay.

Thanks I really hope it's nothing. It's just that I didn't spot with my healthy pregnancies, only my m/c's so it has me freaked. And it was only really light spotting and mild cramping with the second, had to get a D&C nearly 4 weeks after it happened. We didn't even find out until 3 weeks after.
I really am trying to take it easy. I just hate this fear. It sucks. I just wish I could fast forward into the second trimester. Shoot, my stomach is so big already I bout look like I am.:

I'm sure it's torture because you have no control over the situation. I hope that everything is okay (the hcg numbers look totally fine, by the way).

Could you get in to see your doctor? Maybe they could do a u/s and see what there is to see. But it wouldn't change anything, so I guess that's your call.

I know I've mentioned this a bazillion times already, but I've spotted every pregnancy, at varying times throughout the first trimester, and even had cramping, and after the first trimester I had two beautiful problem-free pregnancies. I second the plenty of water and less stress suggestion. Take care and I hope it works out well for you.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I spotted in pregnancy six and never had before. Everything turned out OK. I hope the same for you.

So I go in and everythings fine! We saw the little beating piece of rice right there on the screen. I had the same due date of July 7th and was only about 6w3 days or something. I was SO happy to see it. It was the first time that we had a scare and actually got good news. My DH ended up coming with DD2 and it was great. We went out and got some lunch afterward and feel so much better. It's funny cause I had to pee in a cup and then after I got all undressed waiting for the doc to come in I had to get dressed and go again! It's really annoying. But what can you do?
Anyhow, I feel SO much better. Thanks so much for all the prayers and well thoughts, they seemed to work this time.
