Ok, ladies, in about 3 weeks I have my 6 week PP visit to my OB. I ended up in an emergent C/S because baby turned transverse lay and stuck her hand out during a vaginal breech delivery.
We are not sure if we are done with having children yet, but I do know that I will never voluntarily sign up for a c/s again....I have almost no memory of the surgery itself (I am not good in hospitals and I think I just blanked everything out to protect myself) or of my baby being born...I have a few snippits (some of hurting; some of DH holding baby next to me for like maybe 1 minute before being wisked away from the OR)....
So, I guess my question is....
What question(s) should I have written down to ask my OB about future pregnancies, labor and delivery. My OB does (or at least right now does them) VBAC's. Unfortunately our birth center does not allow VBAC's in it, so it is either going to be a UC homebirth or a hospitalized birth with full EFM and stuck in a bed.
My history with pregnancies is that I a) Go beyond 40 weeks with every pregnancy; b) have large sized babies - 9+ pounds; c) have very fast painfree or low pain labors where I do not realize I am in labor. (With my last one a few weeks ago, I walked into triage fully dialated and people didn't believe me I was in labor because I was to calm.)
