Let's Predict Our Births

I don't think we've done this yet, but I thought for all the mamas still patiently waiting for their little ones, we could predict the following info. & then come back & see how close we are (I mean the babies have to come out someday!!!)

My family is doing this also. My prediction (and we already know we are having a girl):

time: 2:20pm
weight: 6 lb 12 oz
length: 19 inches

I don't know why I have it in my head that this baby will be under 7 lbs... DH was 6 lb 12 oz and I was under 5 lbs... but we were both early.

If this baby is 12 lbs I am going to freak.

date: gosh, i don't know WHAT to say about this... this is not easy to predict.... lets say the 15th for now... (wow that is SOON isn't it! can i edit this in a few days? )
time: i have no friggin' idea so i'll leave this blank.
size: at least 8.5 lbs...
length: at least 22" long

sheamas may not be a scorpio after all...i might have a sag boy... (tom is a sag...sigh.........) boy am i a runny mouth these days...........................

Oh, yay, this will be fun! DH says that we should talk our family and friends into doing a pool to predict everything, and that we should get to split the pot with the winner.

Date: 11/22
Time: 11pm, after a 4 hour labor (I really want to eat that Thanksgiving dinner , and DS was 5 1/2 hours, so we're anticipating a quicker labor this time)
Sex: Female (we don't know)
Weight: 7lbs 2oz
Height: 19 inches

I'm lowballing the height and weight because we think this baby is definitely smaller than DS, who was 7lbs 8oz, and 21inches...

Crap! My guess was this morning at 3:38 & I do not have a baby. It was really just my wishful thinking guess b/c my EDD isn't until Sunday & I was 3 weeks "overdue" w/my last. I guess I will just try to wait patiently.

My EDD was 11/03, so I'm going to be optimistic...

Sex: Boy (we just found out)
Weight: 8 lbs. 9 oz. (U/S predicts 9 lbs. 9 oz, +/- 1 lb. 7 oz!!!!!)

Ooo, I was only off by 23 hours 55 min. It was 11/14, 12:55 a.m., and she was 8 lb. 2 oz., 20 in. long. Pretty darn close!
