yes, I'm sure it's related to talking to the ped. Her ped told her that since 1999, thimerosal has not been an issue in the vaxes their practice gives out. I told her, even if that's true, there are other risks involved with vaccinating beyond just thimerosal. Also, my son was born in late 1999 and I still rec'd thimerosal containing Rhogam (I'm Rh negative) during pregnancy, right after birth, and in his vaccinations at least well into the year 2000. Unfortunately, I was uneducated about vaxes until after he had rec'd 2 years worth of standard schedule vaccinations.
I wish there were a couple pivotal research pieces on the risks inherent in vaccinations. It would go a long way toward helping to educate the general populace (and friends and family who are unaware) about the risks associated with vaccinating.
