Anyone else watch this? We just returned it to Netflix. It was the story of Sudanese refugees who, as children, walked over a thousand miles across the desert with little food or water. Accepted as American refugees they are given an apartment, a few belongings, and 2 months to get on their own feet - and they've never seen running water, a supermarket, or electricity before in their lives.

You definitely should. It was really good. Growing up here we take so much for granted, but watching these men here for the first time, you see so many things in a new light.

I'd like to see that. I recently read What is the What about a Sudanese "Lost Boy."

LOVED the movie - it really put my day to day "problems" in perspective to see what the Lost Boys went through as children. And it was just so cool to see them come to the states - the culture change must have been mind-blowing.

I liked that book too.
