Something might be happening

I had contractions throughout the night. A few woke me up. I am still having them this morning, but I haven't really been timing them. I am able to talk and walk through them, so I don't really know that it is anything. I have had that crampy feeling like I am going to start my period. And I finally saw some pink tinged mucous on the toilet paper today. I have been in the bathroom so many times, it seems like my body is gearing up for something!

Just a quick update...

I am still having contractions. I still am not seeing a definate pattern as far as timing goes. They are wrapping around my back and my legs are achey, but I am still able to walk and talk. I went out and about today to visit a friend who is having her baby on Thursday, to run errands, and then went for a walk this afternoon. I have had just a little more pinkish brown tinged mucous.

DH is supposed to leave for work in a couple hours and I am debating whether I want him to stay home or not. I think I might have him go and just call if things get more intense. I don't want him to take a day off and have it be wasted, but at the same time if this is really labor coming I don't want him to be exhausted, kwim?

I will keep you updated. I am so excited that something is happening!

My contractions are still ranging anywhere from 4-10 minutes apart. DH called the midwife just to give her warning about what was happening. She said rest, relax, and make sure to eat. I have an appointment with her tomorrow at 11am, so we will see what happens between now and then.

DH decided not to go into work tonight.

I never had any pattern to my cx this time even during transition they would alternate between 1-4 minutes apart. Trust your instincts about how you are feeling, not necessarily the clock.

Woohoo! I guess I came to check on you at the right time! I agree with pp, trust yourself not the clock. You'll know when you're ready to move to the next step. Lots of birthing vibes!

Contractions have been 4-5 minutes apart for the last hour or so. I am having more pinkish brown mucous. I think we are going to wait just a bit longer before we call the MW again.

I will try to update before we leave for the hospital.

On the way to the hospital. Contractions are three minutes apart for about the last hour.
