So, am I the only one that is once again checking the T.P. like in the first trimester again? I keep hoping for some mucus plug, something a bit pink, etc.. but it's just not happenin'

**slowly raises hand* Guilty

I just want something, anything to happen down there.

Yes! It's weird to actually be hoping for pink!

count me in. although i've been checking the TP my whole pregnancy...after an early miscarriage last year, i kept being amazed this time to never see any spotting. i know that might sound a little crazy.

now i'm actually looking for it!

Oh!! Me! Me too!!

I check every time hoping to see something.: But, nothing yet!

I am so guilty of this!

Guilty...guilty...guilty!

I've even had DH look at it!

Yup, me too! Especially today, I've had a lot of thick yellowish mucus on my pantiliner and TP so I keep checking for more or to see if it's changing. Like someone else said, just hoping for any sign that something, anything is happening!

I almost started this thread myself yesterday! Yes, after my subchorionic bleed early in the pregnancy, I agree, it is strange to be wishing for some pink on the tp now.

::raises hand::

I have the whole pregnancy though. Nothing except for discharge.

Me! Me! I have been checking it all along- first it was because of paranoia but now it is looking for bloody show or mucous or something, as you said. I even say "please PLEASE let there be something!" I am also a compulsive underwear checker- feeling for maybe leaking water. I am trying to think positive... you know, the laws of attraction and all that....

Guilty as charged. I check every single time I pee, plus whenever I feel like I have a bit of discharge, I go running for the bathroom to check it.

I'm also an underwear checker! It looks like I'm constantly feeling myself up.

guilty as charged.

I actually did have some pink and some mucous a little while back- like 2 weeks ago. Nothing since, though.

The other day we were low on TP, so after I blew my nose I decided to tuck a piece of the TP over to wipe, since there was enough of a "tail" left to wipe with.

After the moisture of wiping came into contact with the TP, it soaked through and when I looked- I saw mucous. My heart broke when I realized it was from my nose. Dammit. I was so annoyed. Not as grossed out as I should have been, nothing phases me anymore, but I was very very annoyed.

YEP!!!!

As I have never gone over my due date before, and my mom leaves on Thursday for a conference over the weekend in Indiana, I'm under A LOT of pressure to have this baby either today or tomorrow. **sigh** But every time I check... NOTHING. AT. ALL.

Yes, yes, yes, I'm one of the ctpc (compulsive toilet paper checkers)

<covers eyes> I don't want to read anything about bloody show 2 weeks ago and still no baby! I want to read "I had no symptoms and an hour later the baby was born. And it was pain-free." :

I needed a good laugh!

Yes, I've been checking the undies & the tp as well. Just gross, stinky discharge.
