Isn't there a two way valve for the tub??

I went to the hardware store to get the potable hose and adapter and they acted like I was insane. Isn't there an adapter thingy that you flip a switch and the water goes back out too? Or am I just nuts?

I was SO angry with the hardware guys I nearly bit my tongue off. None of them were particularly charming about my needs.

I had (but didn't get to use) a Python attachment like they use for fishtanks. You should be able to get it at Petsmart. There's a picture and link here:

We got the Python one too. Not sure how things are where you are but we have both Petsmart and Petco on town. Petsmart didn't have the Python when dh went to look-apparently they had switched to another brand and were clearing Python out? I wasn't there so they may have the same thing-different brand. Petco wanted 52 for the 25ft kit so we ended up ordering it from Drs. Foster and Smith for 38 including shipping. Oh but you have the hose-nevermind you don't need the kit Petsmart is where they had the best selection of the Python brand according to DH!

I've heard enough from the naughty MW about my choice of birth pools. I don't feel like asking anything. I am pretty darn grumpy IRL.

Not sure what switch you're talking about, but we also have the Python. We ordered it from Drs Foster and Smith and it worked really well for filling/ emptying the pool. We're using it this 2nd time around, the only thing is, you have to use the Python w/ a small faucet (like on a sink, unless your tub faucet is similar to a sink faucet).
