:It's not your job to convince the family that it is safe. It's your job to stay relaxed so that you can have a healthier pregnancy. If mom wants to accept it and be supportive, let her come. If she's not going to, un-invite her (or just forget to call her when you go into labor). It's none of uncle's business. Like the pp said, let everyone know that this is not open for debate and you will not be discussing it anymore.
