What Book Should I Buy?

I have a gift certificate to Barnes and Noble for $25. What should I get?

I like EVERYTHING. Fiction, non-fiction, biography, books like "Blink" and "Freakonomics"..my interests are very wide, but not very deep, lol. (Does that make sense?)

So tell me what *you* would buy in my shoes.

a great fiction, like Cormac McCarthys The Road. I bought it a month ago and it touched me in a way no book had in a long time... I read it twice!

My all time favorite book is The End of Poverty: Economic Possibilities of Our Time (Jeffrey Sachs). It's a fantastic book! I can't remember how many times I've read it.

I just finished Revolutionary Road (Richard Yates). I've wanted to read it for years and years and just never got to it. I finished it in less than 3 days because I couldn't put it down.

If you want a good story and a flashback to your teen crush days, definitely pick up all three books of the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. (Except you can only get 1 for $25).

I just finished The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mohsin Hamid which I picked up at B&N for 60% off. It's a short, engaging, and very surprising book. I highly recommend it.
