I have thrush ALREADY......

I am sobbing because I have never had a good nursing relationship with my DC. I get an infection sooo quick. My left nipple is excrutiating and has open places all around the base. My right side is dry, cracked and has one open place and I am having shooting pains as well as deep tissue pain. I cry everytime Cora latches on and this is my fourth baby-I am confident in my ability to latch her on correctly and I have done football hold,crossover etc and nothing is helping. I am sooooo fed up. I didnt even last a month with my son because of the exact same reasons. I pump to give my nips a break and acidophilus, and BM on my nips air drying the whole nine....NOTHING helps and I am depressed. It happens so fast and while I was feeling good emotionally, I just dont have the stores to deal with this. My poor baby....I just wanna nurse her. She is my last one.....:

I usually go thru lots of pain too.

Have you tried the white vinegar treatment? Dilute a bit with water, let air dry on the affected areas several times a day. I am not sure if it will burn when appllied - I hope not! Have you called someone to help figure this out?

For me I wondered if pumping was causing temporary relief but long-term problems.

Yeah I havent pumped yet with her.....essentially because it makes me feel defeated. I have done the vinegar and it burns so I guess I need to use less. I also used GSE and I only had enough for 2 applications....I havent called anyone just because they go through the same things....I feel like I know all the things to try yk? Not that I am some lactation consultant but this is my fourth attempt. I have senstive skin in general and often I have wondered if the burning aside from the open places is from some sort of dermatitus on my breasts.
