Dropped out of HS 2 weeks into my sophomore year, got my GED and went to 2 years of college. I am thinking of returning next fall.

I'm working on my BSN, so at this point 'some college'

Started 10th grade, got pregnant, dropped out, got my GED. Years later, I took a semester of college but it was too hard to take care of my dad and kids and everything else, so I didn't continue. I select "Some College" on questionnaires, FWIW. I taught myself graphic and web design and am working on making a living as a designer. I'm definitely more intelligent then my schooling would tell (though still really dumb sometimes )

Now that I've had a few years to de-school, I know what I'd love to go back for!

MA in anthropology. I really would like to go back for my PhD, but don't see it happening anytime soon. I am also 2 classes away from my RN lol. If my health will allow, I'll finish that off next year. I'd love to combine the 2 and do some medical anthropology.

And in my dreams, I work for Doctors without borders.

I have a BA in basically liberal arts (independent study/self-created thingy), and a MS in Reading Education. I totally agree with a PP in that I've learned much more out of school. Actually, I have realized lately how little I've learned *in* school.
