Video Game Mamas: Sim City Societies

Don't buy it. It's lame. I can't find anything "fun" in it. I'm a long time Sim City player, back to Sim City on Nintendo in 1992, I've played all the city builders, Pharaoh, Middle Kingdom, Caesar, I've been a devoted Sims 1 and Sims 2 player. And I was so excited and eager to buy this game. What a disappointment.

It's so bad, I did something I've never done before, I wrote EAGames and asked for my money back. I'm sure they won't give it to me, but I figured I wasn't out anything to try.

I could try and sell it used, here or there or on ebay, but its so bad, I'd feel bad selling it to someone else.

I wish I'd seen this post at the end of last week; I could have bought it from you. My older kids (13 and 10) pooled allowance and birthday money to buy this game. They love it!

I'm glad they are enjoying it It's just too simplistic for me, a seasoned sim city player.

hold out for Spore. It will be the next great sim-game (same original creator, not some rehash).

It definitely isn't the most involved or difficult of the games my ds plays, but he still likes it.

I'm sorry you were disappointed with it.
