Are you all stalking me??? Actually I didn't want to get nabbed with this but I guess I will just spill it: I am on my way to the hospital in a couple of hours and they are going to sweep my membranes or break my water if necessary (although I believe I am leaking fluid!) and baby should arrive by tomorrow afternoon! I asked them not to do the cytotec... I am 3 cm dialated and soft, and the baby's head is engaged. I was wondering why I was waddling so much more! I have been having regular contractions.

I know it is not the route many of you would take but I am doing what I think is best for me and the baby- I know the stress I have had throughout the pregnancy is not good and things have been even more stressful now that I am in the home stretch! Thank you all for being concerned- I will keep you up to date! My birth beads are all packed and ready to be squeezed tightly...

Awww..good luck, Maisie! and don't worry about what the rest of us do, this is YOUR pregnancy and YOUR baby and YOUR body and you get to make the best choice for yourself and your baby. I think everyone here just wants all women to be informed of all their options before making decisions. We all just want the best for you and your little girl. Having her in your arms is going to be such sweet relief to you.

maisie, I just want to commend you for researching and refusing the cytotec, and opting for a more natural induction method. Your experiences are something very few of us have gone through. I can't even imagine what I would consider, or how I would feel, in your situation.

Well, what I really want for pain relief is tequila shots. : I am downloading some birth music right now and then I am actually- are you ready for this- going to SHAVE MY LEGS. This is practically unheard of for me! I have only done it twice during the pregnancy but I don't want the doctor or baby getting whisker burn from these beasts! I am totally excited but my internal exam has left my tummy sore. I am just ready to be at the hospital where they can intermittently put me on the NST machine so I am not saying every hour "hmmm... I have not felt her in a couple of hours...." and then wondering if she is moving as much as before... I will just feel so much better when she is in my arms!
