Rollcall: It's mid month ladies!

Hey all. Just thought we could all touch base. With so many mamas having babies I get a little lost around here lately!

I'm 1 day overdue (woo hoo!). Had an appt yesterday, nothing's doing. I'm 1 cm and long and high back there. Everything looks great, no need to be concerned. I have another appt next Tues along with an NST the same morning. They went ahead and scheduled an induction for the 28th, but I'm doubting I'll need it (or I might just forget to call in ). Oh, and today's my birthday, so much for having my last baby when I'm 30.

Congrats to all the mamas with new babes. And for those of us still waiting, it's nice company to be in!

happy birthday isosmom!

i'm still here! baby is really liking it in there...i thought he'd be here by the 14th but that has now come and gone...now i'm baffled. guess i just thought he'd come before my EDD...which he still may.......................it'll give me more time to unpack more and organize our new place...hopefully.

i'm starting to have those 'i can't believe i'm having another child' thoughts again...i can't believe it. it won't just be my meghy and i anymore...it makes me sad for us and also kind of happy but its a weird feeling like an incompetent feeling...but maybe that is cuz i'm on my own...i don't know. i'm a little overwhelmed. i know i'll be just fine once he's born...and really 'here' to see.

Still here. My due date was sometime in the last week (they gave me 3).

I'm so excited though because after all my bitching and whining yesterday, my body is finally doing something! DH and I DTD last night and after that I had 2 hours of crampy early labor contractions. I wasn't psyching myself up too much though. They felt like the ctx I had in early labor with DD when I wasn't sure if they were really ctx, but they had a definite beginning and end. When I told my MW, she said 'yeah, those are ctx!' .

So I laid in bed thinking of what I should do. I decided if it was real labor then I was going to needmy rest and they would either wake me up or pick back up in the morning. So I had a relatively good night of sleep after that (as good as can get at this point I suppose) and woke up. No ctx yet but I feel pretty crampy. I have a MW appt this afternoon so we'll see what she says.

I'm here too. 3 days past. My others were 13 and 9 days late so I know I easily have another week, but man do I want this baby here. Today I am on the verge of crying about everything, and I can't find anything to do with myself.

I'm a lot of fun to be around today...

I'm still here--of course EDD isn't until next Thursday. I kind of feel like I'm already on the clock, though, since midwives diagnosed me with gestational hypertension on Monday (on the basis of two readings one week apart--does that seem normal?). I go in for my first NST today, and I have an irrational fear that they're going to admit me and force me to have my baby. and I don't have a bag packed! and my house is a mess!

I'm here, not "officially" due until Monday... but I'm hoping something happens today or tomorrow so I can be somewhat recovered by Thanksgiving and eat a TON of food.

I bet if my baby new how good Thanksgiving dinner tasted in BM versus through the umbilical cord he'd cooperate and come out sooner.

I did start losing my plug yesterday and am almost 2 cm and 80% effaced (but I know none of those mean anything).

Can I be here too? I'm not "due" until next Tuesday, but am feeling the same envy for all the moms who've delivered a week or two early on here. I think I need to stop being such a planner, and start enjoying this last week(s).

Hey, I'm having a BH contraction right now!

My problem is that my mom is coming into town on Sunday, and really can only stay two weeks, but she told me not to worry about it, and if the baby comes later, she'll just stay later. I think she's looking for an excuse to tell her boss to F%#@ off! It's hard for me to not try to take care of her, too, but DH reminds me that she's a full grown woman who can manage her own travel plans.

So I need some support to start thinking outside this two week "window" I've given myself to have the baby in, and to let this baby know that I trust her, I trust when she will decide to arrive----but still sort of let her know that she is welcome ANYTIME she wants to show up, especially earlier than later!

So far I've made myself a little list of natural progression methods to start working on, got a jug of RRL (really Yogi brand "Mother to Be" tea) icing in the fridge, been trying to get out and walk every day, taking an EPO supplement orally, spicy food, some good ol' fashion sex, and a little nipple stim here and there. I'm also going to try the "Midwives Salad" I think someone mentioned in the sticky, because it's the same ingredients as this salad they serve at a pizza place here in L.A. that women supposedly flock to to help them start labor. Urban legend, I suppose, but we'll see.

And I may have my membranes sweeped next week...just trying to avoid castor oil--not a fan of the Diarrhea-cha-cha-cha!

I'm still here and reading but with babe in arms.. does that count??? I have not forgotten the moms stil waiting!! (I was long overdue with DS1 and 2 so I know how it is..) .. labor vibes to all!!

Still here, too! I'm one day past *my* due date, but not technically due, according to the MW's wheely-thing until tomorrow, when I have another appt.

Baby is lower (how is that possible???), and I've actually had some sporadic ctx for the last 24 hours. Haven't lost my plug yet, though... *sigh*

And my mom just left this morning for a conference in Indiana, and won't be back until Saturday or Sunday. Tomorrow, the older kids have a school Choir concert downtown, which accounts for 1/3 of their semester grade. Which is freaking out my oldest, b/c she REALLY wants to be there for the birth, but she can't miss the concert. So send all of the vibes that you can that I'm not having this baby around lunchtime tomorrow...

Saturday would actually be good.

Did you hear that, Wee One???

Still here. My original due date is Nov 17th. It was revised to Dec 5th. Who knows when I will deliver. All I know is these bh's suck and my belly is itching so bad!
Still here.. EDD 11/30. I suppose I could make this a really chipper post so you'd think I was handling the last two weeks well, but I'm in too much of a crappy mood to do that.
I'm here, although I'm in December as well with an EDD of 12/1!
I'm still here. My due date was 8 days ago. I'm sore, tired, crampy but not contracting, and wanting to beat the heck out of somthing just because. Baby feels like she's going to drop out of my scar and all I want to do is crawl into bed. At least DH will be home sometime before or after midnight Friday night/ Saturday morning.

I'm here. My due date is tomorrow but I haven't been having any promising signs of labor
post #17 of 28
I'm still here too! According the most recent due date I'm one day overdue, though my original due date was this Saturday the 17th.

I had an appointment with my MW today. I'm fully effaced but only 1-2cm dialated, and baby has not fully decended. She looks really healthy and my weight and BP and all that are great, though my kidneys aren't working very well anymore. Hopefully she will come out on her own soon!

I'm going to check in to with babe in arms to let you know that I'm still watching all the posts, especially those for the mamas who are still waiting and I"m trying to respond as much as possible.

I'm here, anywhere between 5 - 10 days past my due dates. Not feeling much going on. Blah.

I'm here.
My EDD is tomorrow.
My midwife hasn't checked me since 36 weeks when I was 1 cm and 50% effaced.
My belly seems to be down to my knees lol
I think I lost my plug this morning. A ton of heavy mucous fell into the toilet before I peed.
I have been having prelabor for about 4 weeks.

I am very, very uncomfortable and cannot imagine being pregnant for very much longer.
