NAK

This is my 4th day of a horrible headache. I cant bend over or look to the left without horrible pain...it's not normal for me to get many headaches so I'm going to the doctor later.

Anyone else having this?

I've been a little headachey today and yesterday. Don't know what it might be, but I do know that they recommend you check with your doc if you are having bad headaches that don't respond to normal comfort measures. Glad you are going to see the doc. Let us know what they have to say.

how'd you make out at the docs?

Did you loose alot of blood at birth?

ds #1 I hemmor. a lot, and had a whopper of a headache for weeks.

this time (6 days out now) and for the past 2 days I've had one as well, but not as much blood loss this time. wondering if it isnt hormones at all for me this time.

I thought about this after I posted. I know a lot of women get intense headaches when they have their period, so maybe there is some hormonal component? Hope you made it to the doc and got reassuring news.

Doctor said my neck is out of alignment and she did minor adjustments that helped. I think it's from labor-all the tightening up and then looking down at an angle to nurse. DH said I was pushing my head into his chest as well and here I thought I was only ripping holes in his shoulders! So I bought some wine and am trying to keep it warm. I might try a soak in the tub if I can get Made to stay asleep.

But reading online I did fine out lots of women have pp headaches from the hormone adjustment.

I'm just trying not to take any more ibuprofen because I was taking that for the after pains and don't like to take anything at all.

I guess labor/birth is like having a mini car wreck from the inside out!

This is my first time as bleeder - even giving me Methergine one time, which does cross into breast milk - and I now have a headache. I am assuming the hormones and loss of blood.
