I know you can use basically combination of echinacea, goldenseal, usnea, thuja, tea tree oil for a vaginal suppository...but what's your favorite that you recommend?

sorry if you've already addressed this but have to put it in there...

treating BV holistically with herbs as well as nutrition (live yogurt, less sugar) and life style issues can help the yoni move into flora balance. while using herbs, one can also address issues like stress, diet, local irritants (lubes, tampons, sex toys etc...) especially if it is reoccurant. although, vaginal irritations creep up on everyone at some point, hormones, pregnancy effect our flora.

some herbs I like in various combinations:
anti-microbials such as garlic, orgeon grape, or calendula
anti-inflammatories like marshmallow rt., calendula, or comfrey rt.
an astringent like yarrow or uva-ursi can be nice too. it's nice to have a few herbs doing various actions to provide an overall healing. best!
